As the mum prepares to marry Kev, Seb and Nina are attacked in a hate crime
Surely if anyone deserves a happyever-after it’s Abi and her son Seb who have been through so much and have finally found happiness with Kev and Nina.
With Abi and Kev’s wedding looming, she’s determined to have the best day ever and to get past setbacks such as best man Tyrone wanting to attend with new lover Alina.
While Abi’s putting out fires,
Seb is on the hunt for something special for his mum to wear on her big day. But as he and Nina are looking at jewellery online,
Roy overhears Seb joking about an engagement ring and gets Seb worried that he’s rushing things. Later Roy’s niece Nina assures him she’s happy.
‘They click in a really mature way as this is his first relationship as an adult,’ says Harry Visinoni, who plays Seb. ‘His relationship with his mum is also repairing itself… Seb thinks Kevin is the nicest man Abi has ever been with.’
As the stags hit Speed Daal, the hens go to the Bistro where Abi declares she’s never felt happier.
But the loved-up mechanic’s world is about to fall apart.
‘Seb is ready to party at the stag,’ explains Harry. ‘He and Nina set off to return Ed’s van keys. Nina then suggests a walk by the canal. They have a sweet moment and they have so much love for each other.’
An ugly situation unfolds as Corey, who’s drunk and out with his
Worried… Kev learns of the attack gang, spots Nina who he hates with a vengeance for her alternative look.
‘The gang is trying to intimidate Nina and they are calling her names which is really upsetting for Seb,’ adds Harry.
Hospital
Kelly Neelan is encouraged to hit Nina, who hurries off with Seb only to be subjected to a sustained, vicious attack.
Abi’s hen do comes to a horrifying halt when the police report Seb and Nina are in hospital having been seriously hurt in an assault. Abi and Roy race over to find Nina in surgery and Seb black and blue…
After telling Kev to cancel the wedding, Abi stays with Seb and tries to stay positive.
Will the young couple recover?
