THE GREAT CELEBRITY BAKE OFF FOR STAND UP TO CANCER

Another batch of famous faces are making their way into TV’S most celebrated tent for C4’s The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer.

Judges Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be sampling the efforts of 20 stars during the five-part series. The first episode sees presenter Emma Willis, DJ Clara Amfo, comedian Alex Horne and actor Blake Harrison battle it out. baking made me laugh as well, but for very different reasons!’

The quartet face three challengin­g tasks – decorated biscuits for the Signature, madeleines in the Technical and a choux sculpture displaying their secret talent for the Showstoppe­r – as they try to impress Paul and Dame Prue.

‘Anything with choux pastry,

I’m happy, especially if it’s filled with crème pat or cream,’ says

Paul. ‘A couple of things didn’t turn out the way they expected.

But they do come up with some ingenious stuff.’

Katherine Kelly and Strictly judge Motsi Mabuse show off their baking prowess, while Matt Lucas, who co-hosts the series with Noel Fielding, also had to compete after a celebrity dropped out at the last minute.

While he admits some of their bakes raised eyebrows, Paul admires the contestant­s. ‘Some stuff they did made me giggle.
