Spider betrays Toyah!
Leanne lashes out as Spider leads her sister astray...
Having been charged with killing her husband Imran, Toyah has hit rock bottom in recent weeks. While on bail, she’s been attempting to get on with her life. Toyah’s been shunned by some of her closest friends, but one of the few people who have been there for her is her ex, Spider.
Understandably, Leanne’s been fretting about her sister’s involvement with the eco-warrior, not least because she feels that getting entangled with Spider so soon after losing Imran is only going to add to Toyah’s emotional turmoil. But so far, Toyah has ignored Leanne’s concerns…
‘Toyah’s scared, she’s lonely and she’s still grieving the man she loved,’ explains Georgia Taylor, who plays her. ‘Her emotions are all over the place, so she’s grateful for the distraction that Spider brings.’
But this week, there’s another more serious concern for Leanne when Spider gets Toyah caught up in a demonstration with him and his dodgy protester mate, Griff!
Playing with fire
Even Spider recognises that Griff is a loose cannon and, with Toyah on bail, Leanne fears any trouble with the police could see her sister behind bars. Furious, Leanne lashes out at Spider, warning him to back off!
