This week, it’s 10 steps forward and 40 back for estranged dad and daughter Charles and Naomi, as we learn that she may have played a part in the attack on Nicola King.
Before the shock revelation hits, Ethan’s hoping to get his dad and sister on better terms and hosts a BBQ with Marcus. But Ethan’s efforts fail when Charles comments on Naomi’s flirtation with Nate. Naomi – who was raised by foster parents – snaps at her absent dad, and then defensive Manpreet kicks off at the spiky teenager.
New beginning
Days later, Ethan dares to hope things are looking up. Naomi’s happily spending more time with Nate and is thrilled when she bags work at the cafe. But the new job becomes her undoing.
Co-worker Nicola is keen to get to know the young new starter until it dawns on her that she knows Naomi’s voice and trainers… from her attack!
