This week, wannabe dad Mack psyches himself up to tell mum-offour Charity that he wants to try again, and signs them up to one of Belle’s wellness days at The Hide.
Expecting spa treatments, the age-gap couple find they’re down for meditation and chanting! Ditching the experience, finding it utterly hilarious, their spark re-ignites.
As passion brews, Charity starts worrying about being intimate for the first time since their termination.

Change of heart
‘Charity is so incandescent with rage about the fact it’s too soon to be talking about trying again. And, especially with her age, she feels quite vulnerable. If she’s capable of having an ectopic pregnancy, then she’s probably capable of another miscarriage,’ says Emma Atkins, who plays her. ‘Charity says, “Go plant your seed elsewhere because I’m sure somebody is desperate for it.”’
Later, after a chat with Moira, a calmer Charity is ready to make up, unaware Mack’s already strayed!
