Good news…

What a great series The Newsreader on BBC2 was. Set in 1986, the drama followed the behind-the-scenes wrangling at an Australian news show, with the power struggle between the two leads taking centre stage. It all felt very true to life and it was very interesting to see stories from that era – such as Chernobyl and the AIDS epidemic – cropping up. D Clarke, West Midlands
