Great comedy

It’s so good to have The Great back on C4 for a new series. The witty historical comedy follows the life of a young Catherine the Great, played by Elle Fanning, who’s determined to overthrow her husband, Emperor Peter III. Nicholas Hoult is wonderful as the selfish ruler and I love watching the couple strive to outdo each other, and the host of supporting characters all make me laugh. This has to be the best historical comedy since Blackadder! Ross Hunt, Bucks
