Musical magic

I have never watched the BBC Proms before, but I tuned in on BBC4 recently and it really opened my eyes – and ears! The music took me on a wonderful journey, with pianist Yuja Wang and the energetic young conductor really impressing me. It was also great to see Clive Myrie dressed casually and having such a good time, miles away from the seriousness of Mastermind or BBC News. Paul Thomas, Lancashire
