Trial shock!

Guilt-ridden Toyah confesses that she killed Imran…

-

Ever since the shocking death of her love-cheat husband Imran, Toyah has protested her innocence, insisting to everyone, including the police, that the car crash that killed him was simply a tragic accident.

But this week, as the murder trial gets under way, an emotional

Toyah can no longer keep the truth to herself and, in a moment of anguish, she confesses to

Spider that she crashed the car on purpose and intended to kill Imran!

‘Toyah’s a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown,’ says

Georgia Taylor, who plays the counsellor. ‘I don’t think she got in the car meaning to kill Imran – she had a few seconds where the red mist descended and she completely lost her mind.

‘But Spider doesn’t want to hear it. He storms out and refuses to answer her calls or text messages.’

Prosecution witnesses

Unknown to Toyah, however, Leanne has overheard everything and is aware of what her sister’s confession could mean for her looming trial.

She begs Toyah not to blurt out something she’ll regret and to let her defence barrister do the talking.

However, as Toyah arrives in court and sits through the heartfelt testimonies from the prosecution witnesses, including Adam and Imran’s mum, Saira, she’s racked with guilt and determined to take to the stand. Will she tell all? And will the jury find her guilty?

‘It’s not looking great,’ hints Georgia. ‘Whether or not Toyah’s guilty of murder as we define it, she was the person behind the wheel when that car crashed, so she’s responsible. That’s unquestionable!’
