Kim flips as she discovers her son Jamie faked his death...
Kim Tate thought she’d cleared up the issue of her son Jamie’s death some months ago when a PI confirmed he had died in his watery car crash a year ago.
This week, she not only learns Jamie faked his own death, but hears that he’s attacked his late ex Andrea’s mother, Hazel, and is on the run from the police!
Up until now, Jamie has been living with Hazel, who was given custody of his daughter, Millie, after Andrea was killed by Meena.
Wanting to reconnect with her beloved granddaughter, Kim’s arranged a visit but when Millie and Hazel fail to show, Kim learns the shock truth…
Bombshell
‘Hazel says Jamie isn’t dead and has pushed her down the stairs. Kim then has to go through all the rigmarole again: that her son is alive and has committed this awful act of violence,’ says Claire King, who plays the betrayed Tate.
With Hazel incapacitated, a scared and confused Millie goes home with Kim while Will, Dawn and Gabby struggle to process the bombshells.
Later, Kim’s emotions boil over.
‘She now feels Jamie must hate her more than anything,’ says Claire. ‘Out of frustration, she’s had a couple of brandies, and she goes to the mantelpiece and wipes his smirky photo
straight off and on to the floor, where it smashes and she grinds her heel in. She never wants to see his face in the house ever again.’ The next day, Kim’s plight worsens as little Millie runs away…
