MARY BERRY: COOK & SHARE
8pm, BBC2
This week, Dame Mary is off to Bristol, a place with strong personal connections for her – it was here that she had her first job, her son William studied at the university, and it’s now home to her granddaughter Grace. The largest city in the southwest, Bristol is a vibrant multicultural hub with a strong community spirit, and Dame Mary soon rediscovers the city she knows of old. First, she watches a hotair balloon display at sunrise before heading to a Michelinstarred restaurant embracing street art (synonymous with Bristol) with a 20-course tasting menu. Later, she cooks up some of her own tasty recipes, including her Tuscan chicken, prawn and courgette stir-fry, pear and blueberry galette, and shakshuka – which is perfect for sharing and served overlooking the Clifton Suspension Bridge!
