Desperate to prove he has an alibi for the evening Catherine was murdered, psychologist Joe O’loughlin (Aidan Turner) takes matters into his own hands…
When another body is found, Joe goes on the run and takes refuge at his estranged father’s house but his stepmother, Ann (Haydn Gwynne), drops a bombshell that leaves Joe terrified for the safety of his family.
Meanwhile, suspicion turns to his close friend, Dr Gerald ‘Jack’
Owens (Adam James) when it transpires that Jack had been having an affair with Catherine.
