Siegfried is haunted by his past as he tackles a distressing case this week. After the no-nonsense head vet receives news about an old friend, he takes out his frustrations on his colleagues at Skeldale House.
But he’s soon drawn into a challenging mystery when he pays a visit to local landowner Major Sebright Saunders (Michael Maloney), who wants Siegfried to take a look at his highly strung new racehorse,
River. But can Siegfried discover what’s wrong with the disturbed animal and ease his own anguish?
