Into Walford In 2017, she joined Eastenders as Karen Taylor’s younger sister Kandice. In Hannah Spearritt: Me and Breast Implants, the singer and actor reveals how she suffers from something called breast implant illness (BII) following her own breast-augmentation surgery back in 2013.
Although the illness isn’t officially recognised by the NHS, it’s thought to cause a wide range of symptoms in women who’ve had implants, including joint pain, chronic fatigue and anxiety. Now, Hannah hopes to raise awareness about the condition, while also trying to bring about a change in the way it’s treated by medics.
