From Emmerdale to… Elf!

Tom Chambers, who played Leyla’s fiancé Clive in Emmerdale, has been cast in the musical Elf. The show is based on the Christmas movie and Tom will play Buddy’s dad, Walter. It opens on 14 November at London’s Dominion Theatre.

Pantomime for Eastenders’ Emma

Emma Barton, best known as Eastenders’ market inspector Honey Mitchell, has signed up for panto season! She will star in Beauty and the Beast as Fairy Bon Bon. The show opens in Bournemouth on Saturday 3 December.

Hour-long episode for Emmerdale’s 50th

To mark Emmerdale’s huge birthday, the soap is not only celebrating with a ‘golden month’ but will air an hourlong special on Sunday 16 October, the 50th anniversary of its first-ever episode.
