Creature comforts
What a delight it’s been to have All Creatures Great and Small back on Channel 5 for a third series. I think the latest instalment has been the best so far! James and Helen’s wedding in the first episode was such a wonderful occasion, especially when set against the beautiful Yorkshire backdrop, and it was so refreshing to see a TV marriage ceremony not end in disaster. The casting is also brilliant, with the
young stars bringing much-loved characters from the original series back to life, not to mention Patricia Hodge, who puts her own spin on Mrs Pumphrey. Christine Holmes, Co Durham
