It has long been said that the legendary Bigfoot inhabits the forests of North America. But a new documentary hears from those who say they’ve seen Sasquatch here in Britain!
As a child, Charmaine Fraser was walking in remote woodland near Arbroath, Scotland, when her dog suddenly stopped in its tracks.
‘She started whining and snarling, her hackles were up,’ explains Charmaine. ‘I looked up and there was this big, broad figure standing along the track. Initially I just stood there in shock, then
I screamed and ran. I thought I’d seen a monster!’
But Charmaine isn’t alone. There have been over 400 modern-day sightings of Bigfoot in Britain, describing it as up to 8ft tall, with a heavy brow, a rounded head like a gorilla and usually black in colour.

Whatever the truth, a Bigfoot sighting also left a lasting impression on Deborah Hatswell, who says she saw the beast while playing truant from school in 1985.
‘I thought it was going to kill me,’ says Deborah. ‘That fear is still in me – that 10 seconds changed my life!’
