Vinny’s GRIEF
He struggles in the wake of Liv’s sudden and tragic death…
The Dingles have had a rough few weeks. After cancer-stricken Faith ended her life, a storm hit the village which saw Liv crushed to death by a caravan, Sam impaled by farm machinery and Samson go missing.
Now Sam’s on the mend, Samson’s safe and well and plans are afoot for a final send-off for Faith.
But Liv’s husband Vinny, is still in a state of shock… Although Liv’s ashes are ready to collect, Vinny’s far from ready to pick them up. But Chas offers to go with him for support and Liv is soon back home.
Lost and lonely
When Chas reveals that Faith’s ashes are to be put in a firework, Mandy notes that it may be a while before her son can part with Liv.
Before she died, Liv said she wanted to start a family and suggested they should start by getting a dog. So now Vinny has Chip, a reminder of the future he had planned with Liv.
And as he stares at his wife’s ashes with Chip at his side, Vinny finally comes to realisation that Liv isn’t coming back…
