The second series of Bloodlands on BBC1 has been a brilliant and gritty trip back through the decades to the troubles that once haunted Belfast. James Nesbitt is without a doubt one of the most talented actors on British television. From comedy to murder, he’s fantastic. We knew he was the killer, but we didn’t know why and for whom, as the plot switched from historical killings to present-day murder and organised crime. It was a brilliant tale. ST Vaughan, Birmingham
