Joy and sadness
I’d like to say well done to everyone involved in Faith’s recent storyline in Emmerdale, especially Sally Dexter who played her. I found the character’s struggle with cancer hard to watch at times, because it made me think about my brother and my nephew who both died from the same horrible disease. I was wiping away tears of sadness, but also joy, during a recent episode in which the Dingle family brought
the seaside to Faith. We could see how happy she was and when she said, ‘If I died tomorrow, I will die happy,’ it was a wonderful moment. Linda Maddison, Lancashire
