Hope’s horror ATTACK?
With a hammer! She goes after a pair of name-calling schoolgirls
Hope got a big shock a few weeks ago when she stumbled across multiple copies of the recently published book about John Stape, her evil biological dad.
In a bid to stop people reading the tell-all story and protect Hope from the attention she would receive, Tyrone bought every copy from a local bookshop along with a life-size cut-out of the serial killer and then stashed them in an outhouse in the backyard of No.9.
This week, when Tyrone discovers the books have vanished, a confronted Hope admits she found the hoard, but lies that she dumped them in a bin.
Fiz and Ty seem to buy the story, but the truth is that Hope has sold the lot! Hope reckons the book will earn her some credibility at school, so she’s been reading extracts to her classmates and making a mint by selling and signing copies of the book.
Turns out, her little enterprise has earned her £75!
Sinister inspiration?
The youngster’s also read the book for herself to gen up on her dad’s numerous crimes, including the murder of his colleague and lover Charlotte Hoyle with a hammer back in 2010…
Recently, she chillingly told her friend Sam that the book has made her realise how much she has in common with her dad! Has it given her ideas? It certainly looks like it has when she plans a John Stape tribute and takes along a hammer she’s nabbed from Tyrone’s toolbox!
As news of the tribute gets round the school, Hope overhears a pair of year-11 girls calling her names, so she pulls the hammer out of her bag and heads towards them… How far will she go?
