Man on a mission!

The Prime Minister’s son, Randolph Churchill, joins the SAS on a daring raid in Libya...

-

The SAS has a topsecret new recruit after Winston Churchill’s son arrives in North Africa, as wartime drama SAS Rogue Heroes moves into May 1942.

Randolph Churchill has been sent on a fact-finding mission by his father, who’s heard great things about the new unit, and Captain David Stirling (Connor Swindells) is eager to show off his men’s bravery.

But letting the Prime Minister’s son tag along on a dangerous mission to the Libyan city of Benghazi in the heart of enemy territory proves a risky move.

‘The SAS are fighting for something that’s bigger than themselves,’ says Connor. ‘But there’s also a lot of ego.’

Meanwhile, the SAS has some more new recruits as an elite group of French soldiers arrive to be trained by Paddy Mayne (Jack O’connell). However, some of the newcomers don’t respond well to his unconventional methods…

‘Paddy was always in hot water before he joined the SAS,’ says Jack. ‘He didn’t fit the mould of what was expected from a soldier, but the SAS gave him a chance to utilise his skills and rebelliousness.’
