Rant of the week...

Jungle overload!

I know I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here! is popular, but the ITV1 show isn’t for me. Yet why was I subjected to clips of it on every other programme, including Good Morning Britain and Loose Women all day long? If I wanted to see the campmates’ antics, I would have watched the show!

Riddiculous by name…

ITV1’S daytime quiz show Riddiculous really was as strange as the title says! Watching one episode of this show presented by Ranvir Singh was enough for me and I hope this silly programme doesn’t get a second series. It’s

not a patch on Tenable, Lingo or the other daytime quizzes that have been on in the past. PA Forshaw, York

What a breath of fresh air C4’s

Miriam and Alan: Lost in Scotland and Beyond has been. Not only have we got to see some gorgeous scenery, but we’ve also smiled and laughed our way through each episode with hosts Miriam Margolyes and Alan Cumming. They have great chemistry together and I wish I could join them on their travels. Esther Newton, Nottingham

Grand trips

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the latest series of Susan Calman’s Grand Day Out on Channel 5 – she’s so entertaining and natural. Every place she tours has interesting stories to tell and I was intrigued by her visits to the Wye Valley and the coast of Northern Ireland, with both journeys filled with history and local traditions. I hope Susan continues to make these programmes for years to come. Brenda Gregory, Somerset
