Bianca’s BACK! Impulsive act
Back in January, Whitney learnt that her adoptive mum Bianca had broken up with her partner, Terry, and decided to visit her in Milton Keynes with Zack.
Now, time rewinds to the start of their stay at Bianca’s place and exposes what’s been going on in the five weeks that have passed.
Having encountered a young girl, Britney, and her brother, Taylor, in the days that follow, pregnant Whit forms a bond. And when the market trader goes on to make some tragic discoveries about the siblings’ home life, she has it out with their drug-addict mum, Keeley.
‘Keeley hasn’t been looking after Britney at all and Whitney feels sorry for her,’ says Shona Mcgarty, who plays Whit. ‘So
Whit tries to help her and wants to take her under her wing. Britney reminds Whitney of herself at that age.’
The conversation doesn’t go well. As things get out of hand, Britney runs off, and Whit follows and is hit by a car.
The mum-to-be is rushed to hospital, where Zack, Bianca and Sonia – who’s also come to visit – worry about the baby.
Tests reveal all is well but Whitney’s mind is laserfocused on Britney. Later, after the girl’s mum ends up arrested for dealing,
Whit offers to look after the youngster, which upsets Zack, who returns to Walford alone.
‘Whitney makes Britney her priority instead of Zack, which is quite sad,’ adds
Shona.
Back in the
Square, Zack drowns his sorrows, while Lauren tries to offer him some relationship advice. In a mess, Zack misreads the situation and makes a move on her! Will his mistake stay secret?
Meanwhile, in Milton Keynes, Whitney’s offer becomes a whole other thing when Keeley suggests she takes her daughter for good…
