Our magazine forum at www. who do you think you are magazine.com/forum is a fabulous resource. Use it to contact other readers to get answers to your questions and help others in turn. If you frequently access the forum through your mobile, make life simpler by using the free WDYTYA Forum app. Search the App or Play Store for ‘WDYTYA’ and install it.
The first time you open the app you’ll be prompted to customise what notifications you receive via the ‘Notifications’ section of the slide-out menu by tapping the bell icon. The app opens to the home screen, with five categories providing you with access to dozens of available forums.
While it’s possible to browse all available forums as a single list (select ‘By name’ in Android, tap ‘Browse’ and select ‘Name’ in iOS), the category view is more logical.
If you’re new to the forum, tap ‘Welcome’ and select the ‘Read this first’ forum. You’ll see two posts offering useful beginner’s advice. Tap one to open it, scrolling down if necessary. Once done, tap the ‘<’ button to go up a level, or use the breadcrumbs (a link at the top-left of the screen) to jump back to the top of the forum. Follow the guide below to learn how to use the app.
