Who Do You Think You Are?

DNA advice appreciated

-

I was intrigued by your piece on DNA. As keen family historians, my husband and I try to stay on top of the latest developments and we have seen many adverts about DNA which caught our eye, my husband was particularly interested to see what it could tell about his historical origins. Neither of us were sure what to make of the latest developments and whether we wanted our DNA out there to be matched all over the world. For the price, we held off doing anything due to our lack of knowledge and my own wariness of new things!

Your article helped answer many questions and we will refer back to it when deciding if it will be helpful in our research moving forward. It helped me feel I know what I’m talking about. Jennifer Shelden, Leicester Editor replies: I’m glad Debbie Kennett’s article was of use to you. We had a lot of positive comments about it at Who Do You Think You Are? Live.
