Scotland’s largest local and family history show returns with a range of speakers and exhibitors from throughout the country and beyond. Talks will include ‘The Scottish Poor Law’, ‘DNA Testing for Your Family Tree’ and ‘Maps for Family and Local History’, and there will be free help and advice available from Lanarkshir­e Family History Society and the Scottish Genealogy Network for those who have hit a brick wall in their research. Exhibitors include national and local heritage organisati­ons, family history societies, archives, museums and publishers. Entry is £2 per person, while talks cost £3 each or £10 for all four. Accompanie­d children under 12 go free.
