Scot­land’s largest lo­cal and fam­ily his­tory show re­turns with a range of speak­ers and ex­hibitors from through­out the coun­try and be­yond. Talks will in­clude ‘The Scot­tish Poor Law’, ‘DNA Test­ing for Your Fam­ily Tree’ and ‘Maps for Fam­ily and Lo­cal His­tory’, and there will be free help and ad­vice avail­able from La­nark­shire Fam­ily His­tory So­ci­ety and the Scot­tish Ge­neal­ogy Net­work for those who have hit a brick wall in their re­search. Ex­hibitors in­clude na­tional and lo­cal her­itage or­gan­i­sa­tions, fam­ily his­tory so­ci­eties, ar­chives, mu­se­ums and pub­lish­ers. En­try is £2 per per­son, while talks cost £3 each or £10 for all four. Ac­com­pa­nied chil­dren un­der 12 go free.
