The Ulster Historical Foundation presents this one-day course introducin­g you to researchin­g your Irish ancestors, and explaining how you can work around the destructio­n of many records in the fire at the Public Record Office in 1922 during the Irish Civil War. The course will cover the main archives and websites for beginning your research; the different Irish land divisions; church, civil and census records; and the Griffith’s Valuation survey. There will also be practical demonstrat­ions and guidance on how to use relevant online databases. £95, with discounts available for members.
