TNA doubles download limits for online research

The National Archives (TNA) in Kew is increasing the maximum number of digital records users can download from its website, from 50 to 100. The records have been free to download since May in response to the coronavirus pandemic, and more than 84,000 people have downloaded 1.1 million documents. The offer includes army and navy records from the world wars, and 1348–1858 probate documents from the Prerogative Court of Canterbury.
