Forest Of Dean Family History Trust
There is a host of useful tools and indexes available via this website, although you will have to register to access them. These include a census name index for the area from 1841 and 1861, a database of locals who emigrated to another country (free settlers and convicts), and transcribed records from parish churches and nonconformist places of worship.
Herefordshire Family History Society
w herefordshirefhs.org.uk Meetings are usually on the third Friday of the month at the Kindle Centre in Hereford, although at present all meetings are Zoombased. The society’s project to record memorial inscriptions is now complete, although there are still some parishes to be published. Members receive the quarterly journal Herefordiensis, and for the latest news and updates, follow the group on Twitter via @HerefordFHS.
Leintwardine History Society
