Eviction hide-and-seek

The Cardiff Times reports an incident from Cultinagh in Ireland, where the county sheriff was seeking to evict a farmer named John Hickey. Hickey initially left the property, but was able to return when it emerged that he had hidden his young granddaughter in the house behind a bookshelf. Hickey was successfully evicted the following day, after “an attempt was made to secrete a young lad in the house”.
