FamilySearch adds two Caribbean collections
Free family history site FamilySearch ( familysearch.org) has added two collections of civil birth, marriage and death records from the Caribbean: 209,828 records from Saint Kitts and Nevis (1859–1932) and 26,286 records from the British Virgin Islands (1859–1992). The British Virgin Islands are a British Overseas Territory while Saint Kitts and Nevis is a former British colony that gained independence in 1983. The records are available online as transcriptions, although images can be viewed at FamilySearch Family History Centers and affiliate libraries.
