Create a Christmas card

Never underestimate the e power of photographs to get people talking.

This year, why not create a Christmas card from an image of your family from a Christmas past, and send it to your relatives? Such cards can be easily printed out on a home computer or created through online retailers such as Moonpig ( www.moonpig.com/uk/).

You can even create a photobook through suppliers such as Snapfish ( snapfish.co.uk) or Photobox ( photobox.co.uk) to illustrate a particular topic (eg ‘Our family at Christmas’), and give to relations as a gift. It’s a great way in particular to help preserve old family photos, but as with any regular photograph album, don’t forget to caption the pictures that you include in the book, to make sure that future generations will know exactly who everyone is. You could even include the date and the location if you know them.
