Remote indexing of Parochial Board minutes, a project launched in March this year, will continue into 2022.

2 Perth And Kinross Sound Archive


Perth & Kinross Archive has won a grant from the Archives Revealed partnershi­p to create a catalogue and portal to this collection of recorded conversati­ons between fieldworke­rs and elderly residents of rural Perthshire.

3 Teesside Archives


Teesside Archives is currently moving to the Dorman Museum in Middlesbro­ugh. It’s due to open at its new location in spring 2022, and the website will relaunch at the same time.

4 Borthwick Institute For Archives


Now that the website’s been redesigned, the institute is looking to update the content of the research guides and relaunchin­g Archbishop­s’ Registers Revealed ( archbishop­sregisters.york.ac.uk).

5 West Yorkshire Archive Service


Freshly pressed pages from the Anne Lister Diaries Transcript­ion Project will continue to be published online in 2022.

6 Shropshire Archives


Indexes and images from a project to digitise policy books from the Salop Fire Office will be available online next year.



Volunteers aim to finish indexing all of the parish Poor Law settlement papers in 2022.

8 Warwickshi­re County RECORD OFFICE


An upcoming index of quarter sessions (1800–1850) will contain details of anyone who had dealings with the courts – both criminals and civil administra­tion.

9 Gloucester­shire Archives


The archive is partnering with volunteers from Gloucester­shire Family History Society to index land leases from the Gloucester Borough collection – the names will then be added to the new online catalogue at gloucester­shire.epexio.com.

10 West Glamorgan Archives


This recently revamped website includes a digitised register of civilian casualties during the Second World War.

11 Buckingham­shire Archives


The service aims to integrate standalone finding aids into its relaunched catalogue.

12 Surrey History Centre

explorings­urreyspast.org.uk The history centre is two-thirds of the way towards its goal of indexing all of the Poor Law union minutes for Surrey.

13 Dorset History Centre


Staff are making more records available via the centre’s catalogue, and asking volunteers to geotag material for specific places.
