66 SQUADRON
w 66squadron.co.uk/people.htm
This is such a valuable resource for researchers, and yet just the kind of website that won’t necessarily appear at the top of your search results. Modest-looking, but packed with information, it’s a single-squadron study focusing on the personnel who served with 66 Squadron between 1916 and 1919. John Grech, the creator of the website, has produced sections on aerodromes, aircraft, medals and combat, as well as an A-to-Z of individuals. This includes a handful of detailed officer biographies, alongside shorter summarised service histories of officers and enlisted men – the latter including drivers, riggers and fitters.
