PICK OF THE MONTH
The biggest event in the family history calendar returns online in March – and it’s totally free
RootsTech, the world’s largest family history show, took place in Salt Lake City, Utah, annually from 2011 to 2020. In 2021 the conference’s organisers changed it to a free virtual event in response to the pandemic. The inaugural
RootsTech Connect proved to be such a success that it’s coming back this month. The full programme wasn’t available when we went to press, but we can expect keynote speakers including French baker and entrepreneur Apollonia Poilâne, more than 1,500 family history classes, an expo hall featuring family history companies and organisations (including ourselves), and the chance to chat online with fellow genealogists. Registration required.
