The Genealogist adds 1911 census to Map Explorer
Family history site The Genealogist ( thegenealogist.co.uk) has added the 1911 census for England and Wales as a new layer on its Map Explorer tool. Users can select the census as a record set and compare it to historic map collections, such as the 1910 Lloyd George Domesday Survey, in order to research the history of their house or see who was living in a particular area in 1911.
