Wiltshire Community History website relaunched
The Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre in Chippenham has launched a new version of its Wiltshire Community History website at apps.wiltshire.gov.uk/communityhistory. Features of the updated website include an A-to-Z of all 260 civil parishes in the Wiltshire Council area, as well as the ‘ghost village’ of Imber, with information about their history. There are also collections of historic photos and digitised books, guides to the maps and documents at the centre, and information about local folk arts, which includes copies of folk songs and plays plus singers’ biographies.
