The Anglo-Italian Family History Society website is due for a relaunch in 2022. In the meantime, highlights here include a very useful links section – which features many websites that won’t turn up in your average Google search – plus useful guides (see anglo-italianfhs.org.uk/articles), archived society journals, and a collection of transcribed data. A simple surname search will yield the number of hits in these databases, and tell you in what category of record the name has appeared – the census; naturalisation; births, marriages and deaths; etc. To see more you will have to join the society (annual membership costs £6), then log in to the members’ area.
