Have say on family hubs

-

ROYAL BOROUGH: Further consultations are set to be held on the council’s plans to move all the borough’s children’s services to central ‘hubs’.

If approved, the plans will see services run by children’s centres, youth centres, health visitors, school nurses and the family resilience service brought together into ‘family hubs’. They will be used to provide services for youngsters up to 19 years old. They will also be open to those with learning difficulties or disabilities until they are 25.

Several consultations are set to be held across the Windsor area over the next two months.

The first will be held at Windsor Youth Talk in Alma Road on Tuesday, January 21 from 1pm to 2.30pm.

The next will take place at Datchet Children’s Centre in The Green on Saturday, February 8 from 10.30am-noon.

Two are also set to take place in March. One at The Manor in Hanover Way from 6pm-9.30pm on Wednesday, March 4 and another in All Soul’s Church, South Ascot, from noon-1.30pm on Wednesday, March 18
