Closures for state funeral

Each week, the Express publishes public notices containing important informatio­n affecting the community you live in. These statutory notices help keep the wider public informed about key issues, from plans to develop a block of flats in your neighbourh­ood to an applicatio­n by your local bar or pub to serve alcohol for longer.

With the Queen’s state funeral set to take place, on Monday, September 19 there will be several road closures in place at various time between 12.01am and 11.59pm in the Royal Borough.

This includes:

■ Both Maidenhead Road and Clarence Road in the eastward direction at their junctions with A332 Royal Windsor Way slip road.

■ A308 Alma Road in the northbound direction at its junction with A308 Goslar Way.

■ Both St Leonard’s Road and B3022 Frances Road in the northbound direction at their junction with A308 Osborne Road.

■ A332 King’s Road between its junction with Bolton Road and its junction with the A308 Albert Road.

■ The A308 Osborne Road for its entire length.

■ The A308 Alma Road between its junction with A308 Goslar Way and A308 Frances Road.

■ The B3022 St Leonard’s Road between its junction with Bolton Road and the A308 Alma Road.

■ Barry Avenue in the eastward direction at its junction with Goswell Road.

■ Datchet Road in the westward direction at its junction with Romney Lock Road.

■ Bolton Avenue, St Leonard’s Road, Chaucer Close, Fountain Gardens and Balmoral Gardens all at their junctions with A308 Osbourne Road.

■ Sinclair Road at its junction with B3022 St Leonard’s Road.

■ Both Alma Road and Vansittart Road in the southbound direction at the junction with Arthur Road.

■ Charles Street in the northbound direction after the entrance to King Edward Court CP.

■ Duke Street in the northbound direction at its junctions with Arthur Road.

■ Both the A308 Straight Road and the B3021 Burfield Road in the northbound direction at their junctions with Priest Hill.

■ Both the B470 High Street in Datchet and Queen’s Road in Datchet in the southbound direction at their junctions with B376 Slough Road.

■ The High Street in Eton in the southbound direction at the junction with B3026 Keates Lane.

■ South Meadow Lane in the southbound direction at the junction with Keates Lane.
