Plan for terraced homes
Applications for new homes to be built on land in Burnham and Farnham Common feature in this week’s public notices, writes Jade

Planning
An application has been submitted to Buckinghamshire Council for the development of six fourbedroom terraced homes with access, car parking and landscaping in Burnham.
The application seeks to build the new homes on land to the rear of 68 and 70 Dropmore Road.
Meanwhile in Farnham Common an application has been submitted for the development of three detached homes with detached garages.
The creation of public recreation space and the widening of vehicular access also features in the application for land at Farm Cottage in Collinswood Road.
Road closures
A temporary road closure will prevent any traffic from travelling through westbound of Bath Road from 311 Bath Road to opposite the junction of Burnham Lane and Bath Road in Slough.
The order has been made for works and shall come into operation at 12.01am on Sunday, November 27, with all works expected to be completed by 11.59pm on the same day.
Elsewhere, an order is proposed to prohibit any traffic from passing through Malton Avenue from 469 Malton Avenue to 466 Malton Avenue in Slough.
The order is for works and will come into operation between 8pm and 5am, starting on Monday, December 12 with works expected to be completed by 5am on Wednesday, December 14.
Traffic will be prevented from travelling through Canterbury Avenue from its junction with Essex Avenue in Slough to 54 Canterbury Avenue.
The order is for works and will come into operation at 12.01am on Monday, December 19 with all works expected to be finished by 11.59pm on Friday, December 23.
A road closure will be in place in Lancaster Avenue from 35 Lancaster Avenue to 72 Lancaster Avenue.
The closure will come into effect at 8am on Thursday, January 26 2023, with all works expected to be finished by 5pm on the same day.
Slough Borough Council is proposing a road closure in Ajax Avenue from its junction with Leigh Road to 653 Ajax Avenue.
The proposed order is for works and will come into operation at 12.01am on Monday, January 9 2023, with all works expected to be completed by 11.59pm on Friday, February 17.
