In the public notices this week, Slough council is looking to change the speed limit on several roads. Meanwhile, a store on The Broadway has applied for a licence to sell alcohol.
Roads
Slough council is proposing to make orders mandating speed limits of 50mph on part of the A4 Colnbrook bypass and 30mph on several other roads.

Meanwhile, roads set for 30mph include other parts of the A4 (Bath Road, High Street, Wellington Street, Sussex Place, London Road, Colnbrook By-Pass), Sutton Lane and London Road.
The 30mph speed limit will encompass these roads from the Slough western borough boundary on Bath Road, about 40m west of its junction with Huntercombe Lane North / Huntercombe Lane South to a point on the Colnbrook By-Pass about 250m east of the junction of
London Road and Sutton Lane.
Sutton Lane will be 30mph from its junction with London Road to a point 57m north of its junction with the centre line of Trent Road.
