Parents’ tribute to their ‘little hero’
Tragic kid Heather touched hearts of everyone
The heartbroken parents of a nine-year-old girl who died suddenly described her as their “hero”.
Family and friends dressed in bright colours to release balloons with special messages and kisses to the heavens as a final farewell to beautiful Heather Hunter at her funeral last Friday.
Heather’s heartbroken mum, Michelle, told the Wishaw Press: “She was an inspiration and the way she fought her illness was amazing.”
Family friends Claire Gilchrist and Louise Donnachie Henderson have raised more than £4000 in her memory.
