Sold cocaine from Wishaw home
A Wishaw man admitted dealing class A drugs from his home in Wishaw
Alan Prentice, 22, of Cheviot Crescent, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine at Hamilton Sheriff Court.
Prentice will be sentenced on September 16 after the case was deferred for reports.
Community investigation unit sergeant Neil MacLeod said:“We will constantly target offenders who supply drugs to others and if anyone has any suspicions or information regarding drugs activity they should let us know and we will act upon the information provided.”
The unit have had high-profile drug hauls totalling more than £75,000 since the start of 2016.
Over £22,000 of heroin was recovered from a house in Craigneuk when cops raided an address in February.
And more than £20,000 of cannabis was seized from homes in Shotts and Harthill in the space of a week.
In January figures revealed to the Wishaw Press by Police Scotland showed there had been more than 120 arrests for drug offences in the Motherwell and Wishaw area since April 2015.
