Teens accused of television thefts

Two teenagers have appeared in court, accused of stealing TV equipment from Tesco in Wishaw.

18-year-old Euan McDowall, of Branchal Road, denied stealing digital television devices on August 4. At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week his case was adjourned for trial until November 23.

McDowall appeared in court but his co-accused, a 16-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons, failed to appear and a warrant was granted for his arrest.
