Snappers in focus

Over the past two weeks members of Alba Photographic Society Summer Club have visited both Glasgow and Edinburgh.

On Wednesday, August 3, the mean streets of Glasgow was the destination and the rain made for some interesting photo opportunities for Alba members.

The following week, Edinburgh was the place to be with the 2016 Edinburgh Fringe Festival in full swing.

Some club members took advantage of free tickets into the Tattoo being given out by police and managed to get some very colourful photos

Tonight (Wednesday) the summer club’s visits to the Edinburgh Festival and Fringe continue and the members are hoping for a dryer night in the capital.

Alba Photographic Society’s new season starts on Wednesday, September 7.

If you are interested in photography and would like to come along to alba Photographic Society, we meet on a Wednesday evening at Netherton Community Centre 7.30pm till 10pm, the doors are open from 7pm.

The club has beginner, Intermediate and Advanced sections.
