Bonkle Parish Church service will be held in the church on Sunday at 12 noon. Sunday school and creche will meet at 11.45am and welcomes any new children who wish to join. Anyone who requires a pastoral visit should speak to the minister. Before arranging any functions or events at the church contact May Park, who is responsible for updating the church diary. Charity shop at Manse Road, Newmains is open Monday to Thursday, 9.30am to 3.30pm. Computer class meets in the church hall on Mondays at 10 to 11.30am, 1pm to 2.30pm and 2.30pm to 4pm. Arts group meets in Bonkle church hall on Tuesdays at 7pm and are off on their summer outing on Sunday. Food bank thanks everyone for their continued support and is open on Wednesday afternoons from 1pm to 2.30pm. Men’s and ladies club meet in he church hall tonight (Wednesday, August 31) at 7pm. Coltness Choir meets at Coltness Memorial church on Thursday evenings at 8pm, new members welcome. Thursday club resumes in the church hall today at 2pm. Rainbow, Brownies and Guides meet in the church hall on Fridays at the usual times. The barbecue held on Friday of last week was a great success and thanks go to everyone who came along or helped on the day.
