Houldsworth Centre in Kenilworth Avenue Keith Lasley

-

Patients blasted the new £23m health centre and branded it“a waste of money”and a“shambles”.

Alexander Smith raised concerns about children’s safety after he watched youngsters trying to climb up the balconies.

A string of complaints at the centre included elevators breaking down and the size of the lifts. Screens to notify patients about appointments were not working . Further complaints concerned parking and inadequate access for disabled people. Stephen McManus has branded Motherwell skipper Keith Lasley a rarity and wants the Fir Park faithful to help honour the club captain.

Lasley is set to face Neil Lennon’s Bolton Wanderers this Saturday and McManus wants a big turnout.

Charlie Flynn is ready to make it five pro wins out of five on Friday – despite his first opponent pulling out.

Flynn has yet to name a replacement but he insists he does not care who faces, as long as he beats them.
