We will motor on with Moult Ainsworth hopes return of injured Well hitman after international break can kick-start club’s season

Motherwell ................... 0 Dundee ......................... 0

Michael Temlett at Fir Park Lionel Ainsworth believes the return of Louis Moult will turn around the Steelmen’s season.

Saturday’s stalemate with Dundee won’t live long in the memory and leaves Motherwell with four points from the opening four games.

Ainsworth believes that whilst Well had the better of the chances, the Steelmen were not at their best.

However, he insists when players like Moult return to the starting 11, the Fir Park outfit will kickstart their season.

But Ainsworth joked it might not be plain sailing for last year’s 20-goal forward.

He said: “I told him a couple of weeks ago he better watch out because I was playing up front!

“Hopefully Louis will make a big difference.

“He’s a good lad, he’s working hard and he’s buzzing to get back.

“He’ll be ready, fit and firing coming back after the international break.

“I’ve seen Moulty miss them as well though!

“We’re making the chances, getting in to the right positions to hit the back of the net.

“When Moulty is back, he scores goals and that’s what he’s been doing for a few years now so it will be good to get him back with the other injured boys.

“You’ve got to look at the positives from Saturday and I think another loss, mentally, would’ve been crushing for us.

“We’ve not played in a 0-0 draw for a while. We dominated the game and played well but we just didn’t take our chances.

“If we score in the first half we kill the game early and our build-up play was good
